There is no waiting period and you do not have to be a resident of the county to get married here. Certified birth certificate OR valid driver's license AND social security card are required. The cost of the license is currently *$98.50 or $38.50 for out-of-state residents who purchase their license in Sevier County.
*The license charge for Tennessee residents who complete 4 hours of premarital counseling through a minister, psychologist, or therapist is $38.50.
