The Smokies biggest attraction is the Great Smoky Mountains national park, however the Dollywood theme park is a very close second as it is the Smoky Mountain Family Adventure Park. Dollywood's Splash Country Water Park is the third most popular attraction in the Smoky Mountains.
Dollywood captures the heart and soul of the Smokies and sets the mood for a nostalgic reunion for both young and old alike with its rides, shows, demonstrations, shopping and food everyone will enjoy.

Every August, Pigeon Forge hosts "Celebrate Freedom!", an event tailor-made for military reunions that come to the Great Smoky Mountains. In addition to a series of presentations and discussions by veterans and historians, the event also features canteen dances, special musical presentations, and star-studded patriotic concerts.
