This spacious three bedroom log cabin that accommodates up to 8 is located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is the ideal vacation rental for family or group getaway in the Smokies!

The 3 Bears Lodge large parking area can accommodate up to 4 vehicles which should be more than you need. You get up to the front deck from the right side with 3 small steps, or from the left hand side by going up 6 steps.

The front door of this lovely cabin for rent in Chalet Village opens into the living room area where you will find a brown suede sectional sofa and two recliners providing plenty seating for everyone to gather together and relax.

The corner gas fireplace with stone in the living room adds both comfort and ambiance to the room. There is also TV with cable service and a DVD player above the fireplace making it the focal point of the room.

A writing desk with lamp and chairs at each end can be used for your laptop since in this cabin there is free WIFI available so you'll be able to stay connected with friends and heavens forbid, work.

The deck on the main level has a patio table with 4 chairs and picnic table. You'll be able to sizzle delicious steaks, chicken, vegetables and the charcoal grill while enjoying the refreshing mountain air and scenery.

Back inside, the range, side-by-side refrigerator, and dishwasher in the fully equipped kitchen are modern stainless steel appliances.

You will also enjoy the little touches such as the cabinet has a lazy susan in the corner and slide out drawers for trash can and pots and pans.

The kitchens small appliances such as a toaster, microwave, mixer, blender, and coffeemaker to help make meal or snack prep a breeze.

Serve those delicious feasts that you cooked inside or outside on the grill on the dining table that seats six comfortably or 8 adequately.

To save you from climbing stairs when nature calls there is a full bathroom on the main floor that also has a tub/shower.

Just inside the entrance door to the left is a wide staircase leading to the upper level of the 3 Bears Lodge where there are the first 2 bedrooms.

The master bedroom has a beautiful king-size bed along with a bench that is the perfect place to remove your shoes and relieve those aching dogs.

The private bathroom has a Jacuzzi, perfect for soaking and de-stressing.

The private deck is a great place to relax and enjoy the company of that special person. A couple of chairs provide seating and with the Great Smoky Mountains in the background, the perfect setting.

The next bedroom on this floor has a log king-size bed and TV. It has a private deck with a view of the mountains and Upper Alpine Road. A hall bath has a shower/tub.

Descend the stairs with an octagonal window that sheds light on the stairs down to the game room that features a unique hillbilly-looking pool table. Here you can play billiards all you want with your friends and family!

You may also want to get-to-know everyone better by playing a friendly game of cards on the round table with chairs here in the game room too.

Two sofas one of which is a sleeper sofa provide seating so that your group can sit and watch TV or gaze in to the flames in the fireplace.

Behind folding doors in the game room is a small laundry with washer and dryer with iron and ironing board.

From the game room, you can exit to the lower deck. The hot tub is great to soothe away exhaustion from traveling or shopping. The picnic table on the deck can be used to serve your meals on the outside.

The bedroom on the lower level has a queen size log bed with log dresser and nightstand. The closet has ample room to hang all your clothes.

This bedroom has a private access to the deck. You could easily slip out for a midnight soak in the hot tub. Sounds romantic doesn't it?

You don't want to miss exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park by touring by car, biking, fishing, and hiking. Hike to one of the falls such as Abrams Fall, Chasteen Creek, Laurel Falls, or Grotto Falls.

If you prefer an auto tour, drive to the Little Greenbrier School that is off an unpaved road off the Metcalf Bottoms Road, Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail or tour around Cades Cove to experience a taste of history.

Gatlinburg has a variety of restaurants. Howard's Restaurant, Peddler's Steakhouse, Park Grill and Hard Rock Cafe are only a few of the choices.
