Something additional to make this cabin for rent even more special is that in late May and June (depending on weather conditions) a very unusual phenomenon of the synchronized fireflies of the Great Smoky Mountains will appear in the adjoining area of this cabin and along the small creek. Watch as the sun goes down how the firefly's lights will memorize you as they will flash in unison and then there will be complete darkness and the lights begin again.
Besides only a few secluded areas of the Smokies with the perfect conditions, these lightning bugs that put on this special show can only be seen in a small area Asia. To find a cabin for rent where you can see the synchronized fireflies of the Smoky Mountains is a very rare thing!
When making your plans of things to do in the Smokies, remember to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
