Smoky Mountain Memories is a 1-bedroom log cabin for rent that is a sweet retreat away from the city lights - yet is close enough to Pigeon Forge Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountains to be convenient.

Smoky Mountain Memories will sleep up to 4 and is perfect for a small family, a honeymoon, one or more couples celebrating an anniversary, or just getting away from it all in a great location in the Smokies.

As you pull into the drive, you are reminded of simpler times by the wagon with a bear passenger along with unique carvings of bears climbing up the side of the cabin add to the Smoky Mountains charm of this cabin.

The wishing well and shuttered front window, as well as a sign, welcomes you to Smoky Mountain Memories. A split rail fence and wooden bears line the drive adding to the enchantment.

From the covered entrance, you step into the kitchen area of the cabin. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a coffeemaker, toaster, electric can opener, microwave and dishwasher.

Meal preparation will be fast and easy. This is a great way to save on your vacation and cleanup will be a breeze with the dishwasher. You can serve it all on the wooden table which has benches on the side and 2 chairs.

The living area has a comfy sleeper sofa and rocking loveseat. Can't you imagine snuggling up to that special someone and rocking together! Relaxing! The stacked stone rock fireplace is not only beautiful but adds warmth and comfort in cooler months.

You will want to sink into the comfortable sofa or loveseat and watch the flat screen cable TV with surround sound so select a movie from the Movie Channel, or you may simply want to gaze flames in at the fireplace.

Patio doors lead out to the covered deck that features a porch swing. Porch swings just seem to bid you to sit a spell and enjoy nature.

A small patio table with two chairs is the ideal place to enjoy that first cup of coffee in the morning with your sweetie. You could also enjoy an old fashioned picnic cooked on the gas grill.

The 2 person hot tub can help you relax and de-stress you. Be sure to unwind in the bubbling waters each evening or start your day with a touch of luxury. There is a privacy wall for you and it does not obstruct the view.

Just behind folding doors is the laundry with a washer and dryer, so don't fret if you leave extra clothing at home.

Ascend the stairs to the loft bedroom that looks out over the dining and living area below. The bedroom features a queen size bed and Jacuzzi.

The bedroom is decorated delightfully with mountain articles such as an old time lantern and quilt rack. A series of six windows provide light and a view of the surrounding woods.

The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and rustic mountain décor with bears everywhere.

Although Smoky Mountain Memories is a great place to hibernate, you won't want to miss the opportunity to experience action-packed Pigeon Forge Tennessee, quaint Gatlinburg, or historic Sevierville.
