River View Chalet a luxurious two bedroom chalet rental sits on the banks of the Pigeon River in the River Pointe development located in the city limits of Pigeon Forge Tennessee, the home of Dollywood and Dolly's Splash Country Water Park.
River Pointe is a new development that offers some of the finest chalet rentals in the Smoky Mountains and the location makes getting to all the shopping outlets, attractions, and restaurants of Pigeon Forge easy because it is only a couple blocks from the Pigeon Forge parkway where you can travel to Sevierville, hometown to Dolly Parton, Gatlinburg, Wears Valley, Townsend or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
The River Pointe scenic nature trail that winds along the Pigeon River is a great place to get your morning walk in as you enjoy all the beauty and sounds this Smoky Mountain atmosphere has to offer. The paved streets throughout the development provide a safe environment day or night for bicycling with the kids and you are just around the corner from the Pigeon Forge Community Center that has indoor and outdoor pools and a Bowling Center for more family fun.
Under the River View rental chalet there is a porch swing facing the river to relax in while the burgers are cooking on the grill and a picnic table to enjoy lunch or dinner with a view of the Pigeon River. There is even ample parking under the chalet.
Enjoy your morning coffee under the covered front porch in one of the rocking chairs as you watch the sun come up over the Smokies while you plan how you will spend your day with the family.
Entering the River View Chalet you are welcomed by a large fully equipped kitchen with all the necessities to make a quick snack or if you want to prepare your family meals and enjoy dinner at the chalet. The dining room table has a river view and will seat six plus there are 3 additional seats at the bar.
The spacious living room with its large windows and glass door lets you enjoy the beauty of the outdoors with a view of the river in the back of the chalet. A comfortable sleeper sofa, loveseat, and two recliners are nestled around the gas fireplace in its stack stone setting. Enjoy the wonderful entertainment center that includes the TV with a DVD/VCR combo so the whole family can relax and enjoy a movie and some popcorn.
The soothing Pigeon River flows by as you sit in the rocking chairs out on the covered private back deck and enjoy the peace and quiet while reading your favorite book.
The hallway from the dining room area leads to a full bathroom and the two bedrooms. The bedroom in the front of the chalet has a king size bed with a flat screen TV and access to the full bathroom. The bedroom in the back of the chalet has a king size bed and a flat screen TV with its own private full bathroom and has river view and a door leading out to the private deck on the river.
River View Chalet also has a laundry room with a washer and dryer so you can pack less on your trip and have clean clothes when you get home.
A day at Dollywood or Splash Country in Pigeon Forge, visiting the shops of Gatlinburg, hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a scenic drive through Wears Valley out to Cades Cove, or visiting the Bass Pro Shops gigantic superstore in Sevierville whatever you decide to do you will have plenty of comfort back at the River View Chalet rental waiting for you when the day is done.
