River Falls Hideaway is a rustic two-bedroom log cabin for rent built in 1929 and located in the beautiful Wears Valley area of Sevier County. Though historic and rustic, it has all the amenities you can want to make your stay pleasant for a family or group getaway for as many as 6 people. This cabin is located right by the 100 year old historic 2 bedroom cabin for rent that sleeps 7 named Secret Falls near Wears Valley Road. The driveway has enough room to accommodate up to 4 cars. Your vacation begins as soon as you step out of your vehicle when you hear the rushing sounds of the river cascading over the rocks close by. From the driveway, you have 8 steps to the front door and porch where you may want to sit a spell on the park bench and listen to the sounds of nature.

Entrance into this beautiful cabin is through a small foyer. On your right behind folding doors are your washer and dryer. You never know when someone will need clean clothes or get wet and you will be ready! You can imagine life at a simpler, quieter time when you step into the living room where 2 leather sofas, a loveseat, and chair provide a place for the family to gather and make plans for the next day or simply watch TV. The TV has cable service and a DVD/VHS player. In cooler months form October to March you can build a fire in the fireplace and spend time watching the glowing embers as you relax. The log walls and rough logs on ceiling add to the unique rustic look of River Falls Hideaway. One of the sofas converts into a bed for additional sleeping quarters. You will be able to prepare meals ands snacks in the comfort of the cabin in its fully equipped kitchen which is light and airy with white cabinets and appliances and the dishwasher makes cleanup fast and easy. You'll be able to serve your meals on the dining table which seats 6 comfortably. The main level has a bathroom with a shower. You don't worry about hard water with a sulfur smell and taste because the River Falls Hideaway cabin has a Culligan water filtration system. Climb the stairs from the entry foyer to the second level. Both bedrooms have queen size beds. The first has a TV and the second is accessible through the first bedroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. If you exit the back door, you find a covered deck that has a hot tub. Plan to spend some quality time in the evening just soaking in the bubbling waters. Comfortable patio chairs allows you to sit and chat while having a cookout outside the cabin on either the charcoal or the gas grill and serve your meal on the patio table and chairs. Along the side of the cabin and facing the river is a long deck with comfy furniture. This will be a great place to unwind after a busy day at Dollywood or hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. You may prefer to simply sway in the yard swing while enjoying the rushing waters of the river as it travels over the rocks. A fire pit can provide warmth even when the weather turns cool. River Falls Hideaway is only 4-1/2 miles from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge and another 7 miles from Gatlinburg. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is also very close by. You won't want to miss the opportunity to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Plan to spend the day and maybe hike one of the trails or enjoy one of the picnicking areas in the park. The 11-mile trip around Cades Cove takes you back in time to the 1800's. The Cove has an abundance of wildlife such as black bears, wild turkey and deer. Great before sunset and quieter in the morning.
