I know you've heard of Goldie Locks and the Three Bears, but did you know that Papa Bears has a cabin in the Pigeon Forge Tennessee just outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park? Big Papa Bear is a delightful 2 bedroom log cabin that sleeps 6 with 2 baths - just right for a small family or group getaway.

As you enter the Big Papa Bear log cabin from the deck into the living room, the overstuffed couch and chair invite you to come sit a spell and rest from your travel adventures. The wood burning fireplace adds country charm and warmth to the room and the TV with satellite service and a DVD VCR is here so you can watch view your favorite show or movie. The air hockey game is ready for the more active ones in your family or group to play to their hearts content.

After a day in the National Park or a visit to Dollywood, the hot tub on the deck will be a haven of bliss so just sink into the warm bubbling waters of the hot tub and let the cares and worries of the day ebb away.

After relaxing in the warm waters of the hot tub, the king size bed in the master bedroom will be just right for a night of rest. It also has its own private bath and TV with satellite service to help you unwind at the end of the day. The second bedroom offers a queen size bed, and satellite TV.

Four can dine comfortably at the dining table and the cabins kitchen in is fully equipped with chrome finished appliances for that up-to-date look. Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner here with the stove, oven, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. Cleanup is easy with the dishwasher.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is close by the Big Papa Bear log cabin and encompasses 521,224 acres. They symbol of the Smokies the black bear are at home in the Smoky Mountains and it is estimated that more than 1,400 bears live in the heavily forested habitat of the park.

You'll want to plan to spend at least a day discovering the Smoky Mountains National Park and the park rangers at the Sugarlands Visitor Center can suggest an activity, a hike, or drive that best meets your individual, family's or group's wishes and time constraints.
