The Pooh Bear's Lair 1 bedroom Smoky Mountain chalet is conveniently located the Chalet Village private community between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in Tennessee. This charming chalet has a romantic rustic mountain look outside, but is very modern inside making it a perfect for a honeymoon or that special romantic getaway you both deserve.
Staying at Pooh Bear's Lair Smoky Mountain chalet gives you access to the Chalet Village Clubhouses complete with swimming pools, tennis courts and meeting rooms. The Gatlinburg Welcome Center just off the "Spur" is close by where you will can leave your car and ride the trolley through the city of Gatlinburg, the Gatlinburg art community, Great Smoky Mountains National Park or around Pigeon Forge.
Inside Pooh Bear there is a spacious loft, complete with a king size bed, a comfortable loveseat by the window and a wingback chair in the corner of the room. Just outside the bedroom area there is a wonderful two-person Jacuzzi tub and you will find a set of mirrored doors that slide open to reveal a nice sized closet.

Near the Jacuzzi you will find the master vanity and then a door opening into the private master bathroom complete with a tub, and shower. Right beside the Jacuzzi is a large window making this a perfectly romantic setting.
Once you sink into the tub during the daylight hours, all you will see is the treetops of the woods surrounding you and the beautiful open sky and mountains in the distance. At night you can both take in the stars!
What a romantic evening it will be relaxing in the Jacuzzi while gazing at the stars as you drench yourself in the luxury of the moment. Don't forget to slip your favorite romantic music into the CD player in the bedroom. What more could you ask for...maybe a little chocolate, plate of strawberries and a glass of champagne?
The main level of the chalet is cozy, bright and cheerful where the focal point is living rooms beautiful stack stone fireplace rising up to the cathedral ceiling. No need to hassle with trying to start a fire with wood or the smoke as this is a gas fireplace - just turn on the switch, sit back, and then enjoy the ambience of the dancing flames without the fuss.
The living room has plenty of comfortable seating where you can also enjoy your favorite television program on the TV with cable service by Charter or watch a movie on the DVD/VCR player.
Sitting on the sofa or loveseat, you feel such a sense of privacy as you gaze through the French doors and see the woods that surround you. Walk through this doorway out onto the wooden deck where your own private hot tub awaits you. Another perfect evening in the Smoky Mountains!
On the other side of the living room, you will find a nice dining area with an octagonal shaped table and four chairs. But wait, this is not just a dining table. Conveniently located on the main floor, there is a second bathroom complete with a walk in shower.
The kitchen is the perfect size and is fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. In the kitchen you will find all of the small appliances such as a toaster, blender, can opener and coffee pot along with all the cookware you could need to make your meals easy to prepare.
