As you ascend the hill to Mountain Splendor, you are dazzled by the landscaping and grandeur of this chalet in Gatlinburg TN. The park bench invites you to sit, rest, and meditate with a stunning view of the Great Smoky Mountains - what a great spot for you to enjoy your morning coffee. From the living room walk out into the glass enclosed patio with a large sunken hot tub and a dining area with a table and chairs. Everyone will love soaking in the hot tub and enjoying the fresh air and the fabulous mountain vista. From this deck, there is access to yet another deck that has a patio table with four chairs, a gas grill and a charcoal grill.

The gourmet kitchen in this chalet is like no other chalet rental you will find Gatlinburg. Huge with incredible counters and state of the art appliances and well as an ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster and more - the perfect place to whip up breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Serve your food at the huge dining room table that seats 10 comfortably and if you need four more chairs can be placed at the kitchen counter.
Of course if you don't want to cook and prefer a night out on the town, you are just minutes away from beautiful Gatlinburg TN. You will find that Gatlinburg has a host of restaurants for your dining pleasure: Linberger's Seafood Company, The Peddler, Park Grill, and Hard Rock Café are only a few of the many choices in town.
The Mountain Splendor Gatlinburg Chalet sleeps 14 people in 4 bedrooms, a loft, and sleeper sofa. The master bedroom suite has a king size bed a desk and chair, and its own private bathroom. Another bedroom has a Queen size bed and set of bunk beds with two dormer windows. The large bathroom in the hall has a unique shape and dormer window.
This huge chalet has a total of eight TV's one for each room of the chalet all hooked up to DirecTV Total Choice Premier Programming. One of the chalets TVs is a big screen and one is a High Definition (HD) TV. Three TIVO digital video recorders are also throughout this vacation paradise.
The Game Room features a 52" HDTV with a Microsoft Xbox, computer work station with Dell Pentium computer, 15 inch flat panel monitor, stereo speaker system, Hewlett Packard color scanner, copier and printer has Charter high speed WIRELESS cable modem with unlimited internet access. This Game Room also has a full size 8 foot pool table, large comfy sofa, and a wet bar. You may want to spend all your time here in this Game Room, but don't do it because there are lots of attractions and activities that await you in Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains.
Staying in Mountain Splendor you are just minutes away from Ober Gatlinburg where you can ice skate, snow ski, ride the go karts, Velcro wall jump, bungee run, and visit the indoor arcade.
