Gatlinburg, Sevierville and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are all close by; in fact you pass by the main entrance to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge on your way to the Mountain Laurel cabin rental which is only four miles from Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash country Water Park.

Mountain Laurel has a large covered porch on the entrance side of the cabin that wraps around to a covered screen porch which is carpeted and lines the whole front of the cabin with rocking chairs and a porch swing then widens on the opposite side of the cabin making room for your large private Hot Tub and a table with chairs so you can relax and enjoy the scenic nature of the Smoky Mountains that surrounds you.

Mountain Laurel has a large open floor plan with vaulted ceilings through the living room. There is a leather sofa and a rocker recliner to relax in while watching your favorite VHS movie on the TV that has the Dish Network satellite service or warm up by the fire from the wood burning fireplace.

Your dining area seats six and the cabins kitchen has all the appliances and cookware needed to prepare any of your family's meals. Right out the door you step onto the covered screened deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee as the morning dew disappears from the sun coming up in the Smoky Mountains.

Off the living room is a bedroom on each side of a hall and a large full bath. One of the bedrooms has a queen size bed and a TV with a VCR and the other bedroom offers a full size bed.

In the upstairs of the Mountain Laurel cabin there are two more bedrooms with queen size beds and a full bathroom located in between the two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a TV and a VCR so you might want to bring the kids portable DVD player so they can enjoy there favorite movie in the other bedroom.
