Morning Mist is a charming 2 story log cabin for rent in the Gatlinburg Smoky Mountains that features 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, King Size Beds, a Hot Tub, Pool Table, and TVs with Cable, a Gas Fireplace and 2 decks. Morning Mist is located so close - just minutes to the Great Smoky Arts and Craft Center on Glades Road and is near downtown Gatlinburg.

You will want to hurry to get unpacked and start your smoky mountains vacation relaxing on the back deck that overlooks the dense woods of mature trees. Relax in the effervescent water of your Private Hot Tub where you can lean back, close your eyes and enjoy the moment. The roof over this portion of the deck protects you from the elements and allows you to enjoy the comfort of this Hot Tub anytime, day or night.

From out here on the deck of the cabin you can watch squirrels as they scurry from tree to tree-gathering food for winter and catch a glimpse of the Great Smoky Mountains over the treetops. Bring your National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Birds to help identify various species of birds you'll see flying in the woods.

If you prefer a bit more sun to deepen that beautiful tan, step onto the adjoining open deck. Here you will find an attractive but sturdy picnic table and benches. Lounge in the sun with a glass of Tennessee southern sweet tea and a good book for a lazy afternoon. You might want to fire up the gas grill and have dinner sizzling while you're relaxing.

When the sun goes down, head inside the cabin and up the wide wooden stairs for an exciting game of Pool in the loft. Flip a coin to see who will break the balls and let the fun begin as you gather around the Pool Table. The loft is open to the downstairs so bring the TV remote and you can watch the action and keep up with the score of your favorite sports team or slip a movie in the DVD player or VCR.

When the billiard games are over, gather in the living room where you'll find comfortable seating on the faux suede sofa and matching loveseat. Enjoy conversation and plan your itinerary around a cozy fire in the gas fireplace surrounded by stack stone. Charming bears tastefully adorn the stone mantle and hearth and a picture of adorable bear cubs hangs above the fireplace. As the plaque on the mantle reads, the Morning Mist cabin is a delightful place to "Live-Laugh-Love".

A good night's sleep is only minutes away in the appealing King Size suite upstairs. Turn the ceiling fan on low, lay back in the sturdy King Size Bed and watch a late night movie on the flat-screen TV mounted on the wall at the foot of the bed. Behind a privacy door, there is an additional sleeping area built in the dormer with a Twin Size Bed...perfect for young child. Adjacent to the bedroom is a full bath with an attractive ceramic tile floor and roomy shower with a corner seat.

You'll also find a bedroom on the main level with another stylish King Size Bed and ample closet space for hanging clothes and storing suitcases. Berber carpet runs throughout the bedrooms for warmth. Snuggle under the crisp, clean bedding and catch the evening news on your private TV. A gentle breeze from the ceiling fan will help lull you to sleep.

Wake refreshed and ready to start your day with an invigorating shower in the adjoining full bath. The attractive ceramic tile floor accents the natural wood walls of this ample bathroom. In fact, it is roomy enough that the washer, dryer, iron and ironing board is located in a spacious closet. For your convenience, this bathroom is also accessible from the main living area of the cabin.

Preparing breakfast is fast and easy in this convenient kitchen. You will find everything you need in here except groceries. You will also find everything you need to set the stylish wooden table that seats 6.

This cabin is charming, comfortable and very tastefully decorated with dark blue braided rugs look striking against the oak floors while the dark blue window treatments accent the wooden blinds, pine walls and cathedral ceiling and blue countertops are the perfect accent to the pine kitchen cabinets.

You might want to take that last cup of coffee and move to the front porch. Take the time to relax in one of the sturdy wooden rockers with cane seats. You'll appreciate the attractive landscaping with Mountain Laurel, Hosta plants and a miniature Japanese maple. Ample level parking is here, just off the porch, and that is always a plus in the mountains!
