In the heart of the Brothers Cove gated community is the Makin Memories one bedroom cozy log cabin that sleeps 4 and is perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary or small family getaways. You'll be making memories to last a lifetime and loving every moment in security and seclusion.
Lights line the driveway to help you find your way up to the cabin after dark. The front porch continues around the side of the cabin to the back covered porch. Two rockers provide a place to sit, meditate, and listen to the restful sounds emitting from the tinkling creek. If you would like a closer view of the creek, there are only steps down to explore.
A picnic table with 2 chairs will be the ideal place to serve a meal broiled on the charcoal grill so be sure to plan ahead for an old fashioned cookout. Stop on the way to the cabin at Whaley's Fresh Market and Deli and pick up supplies and groceries.

Enter into the kitchen area of the Makin Memories log cabin that is fully equipped and is ready to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Small appliances such as a toaster, coffeemaker, microwave, and blender make meal development prompt and easy. Save time and money by eating some or most of your meals in this cozy atmosphere. Serve your creations on the round dining table which seats four and a dishwasher makes cleanup fast and carefree.
Heed the sign, "Take Time to Dream". Don't fret if you forget or leave some of your bags or garments at home. Just toss the ones you have in the washer and dryer that is discreetly hidden in a closet. An iron and ironing board is also provided to press those travel wrinkles away.
In the corner of the living room is a stone wood-burning fireplace. Imagine sitting on the sofa and "makin memories" with that special someone. The leather sofa converts into a sleeper sofa. Make yourself at home, breathe easy and take a break from all the cares of life. Click on the Direct TV or pop a movie into the DVD/VCR player.
Rustic stairs of tree branches ascend to the loft area. The balcony with its log railing permits you to look down upon the living room. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size log bed, but one of the best features is the Jacuzzi tub with a waterfall!
Imagine sitting in the swirling waters of the Jacuzzi tub and listening to the sounds of the waterfall cascading over the stones. This would be soothing and calming, don't you think? Greenery and flowers add to the décor.
You will be able to watch TV or a movie before drifting off to a great night of rest. A stone fireplace adds warmth and a romantic glow in the cooler months. Watching the flickering flames can be soothing and hypnotizing. What a great way to fall asleep!
The bathroom has a large shower stall and other necessities, but the etched glass with a wildlife scene add light and an interest touch to the room.
While all this is great, the most enticing aspect of the upstairs area is the private deck and hot tub. If you are like most people, you'll want to spend some time after your busy day just rejuvenating in bubbling waters of the hot tub.
All guests of ours who rent one of the cabins in the Brothers Cove Resort have complementary seasonal swimming pool access in the "Cement Pond" with breathtaking views, large sun deck with lots of lounge chairs, bathrooms and changing area, a beautiful covered gazebo, and a picnic area with benches, tables and BBQ grills all with a million dollar view.
Although this cozy and peaceful cabin tempts you to stay inside, you will not want to miss the opportunity to visit some of the attractions in the area such as the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that is just minutes away.
The Dollywood theme park, the Smoky Mountain Family Adventure is located in nearby Pigeon Forge Tennessee.
Gatlinburg has quaint shops and several Ripley attractions, which includes Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. Gatlinburg has some very fine restaurants such as the Peddler and Lineberger's Seafood.
