Fiddlestix is a wonderful 2 story, 3 bedroom Log Cabin with breath-taking mountain views and lots of privacy on the northeast side of Gatlinburg, only minutes away from the Downtown Parkway. This log cabin is Pet Friendly with plenty of room inside and out.

For your pleasure you will find a Wood-burning Fireplace, Private Hot Tub, Jacuzzi, Free Wireless High Speed Internet Access, 3 Cable TVs, DVD, VCR, Stereo with CD player, and Covered Parking.

A wonderful covered porch stretches the entire length of the log cabin and is a great place to spend an afternoon relaxing in one of the 4 rocking chairs or try the porch swing on for size. There is a picnic table and benches along with a gas grill under the roof to enjoy no matter the weather.

A Private Hot Tub is just a few short steps off the far end of the porch in a very tranquil setting. The Mountain View from here is exceptional and the roof overhead gives the Hot Tub a nice cozy feeling and protects you from the elements. You should take time out of every day to enjoy this Hot Tub, and oh yes, be sure to look up on the outside corner post where you will find a wonderful shower for rinsing. Now this is my kind of outdoor living.

You will find the Fiddlestix porch will be one of your favorite places to be in the cabin. Bring a little birdseed to put in the feeder at the end of the porch and be sure to check out the carved smiling face waiting to greet you beside the front door.

The wood burning fireplace, surrounded by beautiful stonework, is one of the focal points of the living room. The fireplaces are open for use from October through March and wood is provided. Sink into the comfy leather sofa or loveseat and settle in for your favorite sport or an exciting movie brought to you by cable TV or if you prefer to bring your own movies, a DVD is also provided.

There is plenty of room for 6 people in this wonderful Log Cabin nestled in the Smokies. The Master Bedroom is upstairs where you can retreat after a busy day to a comfortable bedroom with a Queen Size Bed. The Master Bath has a large Jacuzzi, vanity and a large dressing table. Relax in the Jacuzzi for a while and then slip under the covers and turn on the TV with cable to catch the news or a late night movie.

The 2 bedrooms downstairs both have Queen Size Beds, large closets with sliding mirrored doors, and share a full bathroom with a shower and tub enclosure. You will also find another TV with cable in one of the bedrooms.

Dark green carpet runs throughout the Fiddlestix Log Cabin providing warmth and comfort while nicely accentuating the log and chinking interior walls.

The eat-in kitchen very comfortable and completely equipped to prepare meals, plus the side-by-side refrigerator has a convenient water and ice dispenser in the door. You will find dishes, silverware and glasses to set the adjacent table and cleanups a snap with the smooth top stove and dishwasher. A butcher-block counter top extends to create 2 additional sitting areas with bar chairs.

Country Charm overflows inside Fiddlestix with tastefully displayed items throughout the cabin. You will find a beautiful wooden icebox, rockers, cane bottom ladder-back chairs, a coal oil lamp, clocks, and a unique 3-in-one step stool/ironing board/chair.

The walls are decorated with handsome Indian artwork, mandalas and a striking stained glass window of a Cherokee Indian Chief beautifully displayed in an alcove of the living room cathedral ceiling. Put these items together and you really have a feel of a pioneer settlement near the Indians in the Appalachian Mountains with a plus side - the luxury of modern day amenities.

The back porch of the cabin attaches to a covered parking area where you will also find a utility room with a washer and dryer. Stepping-stones lead from here to the backyard where another picnic table and benches sit ready for your perfect picnic. You feel very secluded here at the cabin but you will only have to drive about a mile to get your hamburger, hot dogs and buns (and there's even a McDonald's close by).

If you are going out, you should consider making a day of it so get a closer look of the Great Smoky Mountains by hiking some of the trails in the National Park or take a drive through Cades Cove where you always see deer in the morning and evening and occasionally a bear! There is so much to see and do in the Great Smoky Mountains you will want to return time after time.
