Call of the Wild is a charming 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath Log pet friendly Cabin for rent in the Bluff Mountain area of Pigeon Forge in the Smoky Mountains with lots of privacy, a large yard, a Hot Tub, Jacuzzi, King Size Bed, Fireplace, TV, DVD, VCR and 2 Covered Porches. You will know you have escaped the busy city life when you step through the front door of Call of the Wild log cabin. Inside you will find this romantic retreat cabin is decorated in good taste with bears, deer, squirrels, Indians, moose, wolves and raccoons.
Notice the alcove above the Jacuzzi with the amusing fishing display complete with boat, fishing nets and bears. I hope Papa Bear had his fishing license if he hooked this fish in one of the many streams filled with Trout in the Great Smoky Mountains national park!
Start filling the Jacuzzi with warm water as you unpack the suitcases and begin your own adventure in "The Wild". Suitcases done? It's now time to slip into the warm water of the Jacuzzi and relax. With windows rising to the peak of the ceiling on each side of the room, you can enjoy the beauty of the Smoky Mountains outdoors in your own private Jacuzzi as you watch tall treetops sway against a beautiful blue sky.

Look around the room as you relax in the Jacuzzi. Notice the beautiful quilts on the bed and hanging around the room. The green mini blinds, kitchen counter top and green and white checked window treatments accent the rich wood interior, while shelves display attractive baskets and wild critters like squirrels and bears. This is truly a delightful log cabin tucked in the beautiful mountains of eastern Tennessee.
You may find yourselves so relaxed; you need a nap before dinner. There's no time schedule to keep while on vacation in the Smokies, so snuggle up in the roomy King Size bed and take a little catnap.
Wake refreshed and ready for dinner. How about a couple of nice juicy steaks, medium rare from the charcoal grill on the covered back porch? Or maybe you prefer to prepare a meal inside - the fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need, except the groceries. There's even an adorable black bear to hold your paper towels. You'll find the wooden table and chairs perfect for an intimate dinner for 2 and the dishwasher makes for easy cleanup.
After dinner, slip onto the back porch and relax in the wooden rockers as you listen to the peaceful evening sounds of crickets and katydids or the wind chimes as they jingle during a gentle breeze. There is also a large yard with a swing here at the cabin. Before bed, you might decide to take a late night dip in the very private Hot Tub. Let the churning water relax every muscle before you decide to slip back into that comfy King Size Bed.
When you wake in the morning, grab a bite of breakfast and take a leisurely walk around the call of the wild property here on Bluff Mountain. You will admire the quaint setting of this log cabin with the split rail fence in front, a willow tree and weathered wooden swing in the side yard and holly bushes that border the covered front porch with two wooden rockers - a perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon with a good book and a glass of southern sweet tea. You might choose one of the great books from the coffee table including a "Taste of the Wild" cookbook.
As evening nears if it is cool you can enjoy a crackling fire in the wood burning fireplace. You will find an old-fashioned coal bucket with kindling on the stack stone hearth. Fireplaces are open for use and wood provided from October through March.
Choose your seat on the sofa or gliding rocker in the living area and get ready for a fun evening. You might want to catch the local news on TV before popping in a DVD or tape. Pick something from the selection of movies available for your viewing pleasure including a series of 32 of the best episodes of the hilarious Beverly Hillbillies. Maybe you would prefer a quiet evening of board games such as Scrabble, Chess or Backgammon, or maybe all you want to do is enjoy the privacy and each other company in this romantic retreat.
