In the master bedroom, you will want to snuggle in the king size bed for a restful night's sleep after a relaxing soak in the corner Jacuzzi. When you wake in the morning, you won't have to get out of bed to hear the morning news, just hit the remote to turn on the television mounted in the corner of the room. Convenience is everything!
The full bathroom on this floor is a pass through with doors that lead to both the master bedroom and the living area. Tucked into a closet in this bathroom, you will find a full sized stackable washer and dryer.
As you walk into the main living area, The massive windows rise almost to the peak of the cathedral ceiling and bathe you in light as they reveal the tall majestic pines outside your back door so with these views and natural lighting there is no need for a skylight in this cabin.
In one corner of the living room you will find an electric fireplace surrounded with natural stone. Above the fireplace is a combination TV/DVD/VCR where you can watch your favorite programs via satellite or pop in a DVD for a "night at the movies".
The sofa folds out into a queen size sleeper and the large matching chair adds comfort to the room while the living rooms pine walls makes the furniture's deep chocolate brown look very rich.
A nice size island with pub style chairs is the only thing that separates the living area from the kitchen. Modern black appliances finish out this fully equipped kitchen and keep with the rich décor set throughout the rest of the cabin. Everything you need to prepare your favorite meal or snack you will find at Boogie Down including the large gas grill on the deck.
For a rustic look that adds to the charm of this Smoky Mountain cabin the wide steps to the second level are have large beautiful pine banisters and railings. At the top of the steps, you will find a wet bar and an under the counter refrigerator set in a cabinet across a short wall that will keep your refreshments cold as you tune into a radio station or slip your favorite CD into the player, chalk the pool sticks and rack the balls. It is now time for a few games of pool!
If the Tennessee Vols are playing basketball, you might want to turn off the music and watch the game. The TV downstairs is located so it can be seen from the open second floor and just off the game room there is another full bath located on this floor.
Since you are so close to the Great Smoky Arts and Craft Community you should visit this 8-mile loop of shops, studios and galleries. It is the largest group of independent artisans in North America and has been designated a Tennessee Heritage Arts & Crafts Trail. From woodworking to pottery or paintings to textiles, you will enjoy the variety of arts and crafts and there is something for everyone.
If you do decide to do a little sightseeing, try one of the approximately 900 miles of maintained hiking trails within the boundaries of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Stop by the visitor's center for a map and have fun exploring as you walk the trails.
Pick your favorite season. Enjoy the beauty of the budding trees in the spring. Early summer will bring the splendor of Mountain Laurel in full bloom. The fall season is rich with color as the trees prepare for winter. Mountain streams are also abundant and you won't find any prettier than the ones in the Smoky Mountains.
