Bear Extraordinaire is a 3-bedroom log cabin for rent which will comfortably accommodate 6 people and is located in the peaceful and secluded Brothers Cove Resort in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This extraordinary cabin it is ideal for family and even small group getaways.
The delightful nature landscape scene that features squirrels, a bear, and a rabbit will pleasantly surprise you before you enter the cabin. The driveway has parking for 3 vehicles and there are only 4 steps to get up to a small porch which has a charcoal grill.
The entrance to the Bear Extraordinaire cabin rental is through the kitchen area that is fully equipped with black appliances such as a range, refrigerator, and dishwasher and small appliances such as coffeemaker, blender, microwave, and toaster - all ready to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Meals can be served on the dining table which as four chairs. If you need to, you can use additional folding chairs from the deck at the ends of the dining table.
Conveniently located on the main level of the Bear Extraordinaire 3-bedroom log cabin is a half bath and a closet with a washer and dryer. This is just a couple of the many amenities that make your stay a pleasant experience.
On the other side of a wood spiral staircase is the cabins living area. Sink into the comfortable sofa, loveseat, or the large chair and watch your favorite program or game on the huge 50-inch flat screen TV with Direct TV access. In cooler months, you may want to gather here to plan the next day's itinerary and watch the glowing embers of the rock fireplace while enjoying the beauty and serenity of the Brothers Cove.
The main level of Bear Extraordinaire features a pool table surrounded by 12-foot high windows that allow a view of the woods to permeate the area. Near the billiard table is a counter-high bistro table with four chairs. What a wonderful place to enjoy the camaraderie of the others in your group!
Outside on the main level deck, you have a table with folding chairs and hot tub. Bring your swimsuit and plan to spend some evening relaxing the soothing waters of the hot tub - that is unless you want to go into the hot tub extraordinarily bare!
Ascend the wide spiral staircase to the upper level of the cabin and while you do so look for the raccoon and other carved animals as you climb! On the second floor is the master bedroom which features a king size bed, TV, and a romantic Jacuzzi tub.
The bathroom has a vanity and walk-in shower that are separate from the private potty. This master bedroom suite has a private covered deck with 2 rockers where you can spend private time with that significant other before retiring for the night.
The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed, a TV, along with a walk-in shower, vanity, and private room. The 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed, TV, another Jacuzzi whirlpool tub. The bathroom is the same setup as the other two bedrooms.
All guests of ours who rent one of the cabins in the Brothers Cove Resort have complementary seasonal swimming pool access in the "Cement Pond" with breathtaking views, large sun deck with lots of lounge chairs, bathrooms and changing area, a beautiful covered gazebo, and a picnic area with benches, tables and BBQ grills all with a million dollar view.
Bear Extraordinaire has all the amenities to make you feel right at home, but don't miss the opportunity to explore the Smokies and surrounding cities! Lots of activities and excitement can be found at every turn, but if it is between Memorial and Labor Day you should also take advantage of the beautiful swimming pool in Brothers Cove.
You may want to take a couple of days to hike, bike, or horseback ride in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Maybe an auto tour is more your cup of tea, if so you could try the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail off Cherokee Orchard Road, or the 11-mile tour around Cades Cove.
Picnicking areas with grills for you to use are in Cades Cove, the Chimneys, Greenbrier, and Metcalf Bottoms. Swimming in a cool mountain stream is like no other experience. The Sinks and Midnight Hole are the Smokies' best swimmin' holes and the Townsend "Wye" is a broad placid stretch of river with grassy banks for sunbathing.
Parrot Mountain and Garden of Eden is another of the attractions in the Smokies not far away from Brothers Cove. It is one of largest bird parks in the Southeast and it has hundreds of tropical birds and thousands of plants and beautiful flowers.
