Around the Bend is a newly renovated log cabin that accomodates as many as 8 and is handicap and wheelchair accessible with 2 bedrooms on the main level. It is perfect vacation rental cabin for family or group getaways in the Smoky Mountains.
Around the Bend sits on a hill so the drive up is steep but opens into a parking area for 3 to 4 cars. Be sure to stop, shop, and purchase fixins for grillin' because waiting for you is a charcoal grill for an old-fashioned cookout. You might want to bring your favorite recipe here so you can baste or marinate your steak or chicken.

There are no steps to get to the deck that wraps around the side of the cabin. The hot tub is located on one end of this deck with log chairs for sitting and relaxing. You will want to make sure to reserve time each day to slip into the bubbling waters of the hot tub to unwind after a fun but tiring day of shopping at one of the many malls or after a full day at Dollywood.
From the deck, step into a great room that is the living room, dining area, and kitchen. This room has wood interior, beautiful tiled floors and accented by a textured ceiling in the kitchen.
The living room features a rough stone wood burning fireplace. Besides the fireplace, an entertainment center has a TV with Direct TV service and a DVD/VCR player. During the winter months, you can enjoy the millions of Winterfest lights on display in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville. After the lights, come home, build a fire, and cozy up in front of the TV to enjoy your favorite game of program.
To save time and money, you can prepare any or all of your meals in the fully equipped kitchen. All of our cabins are furnished with coffee makers, toasters, and blenders to make meal preparation simple and easy. The dishwasher makes cleanup fast so that you can enjoy more of your vacation in the Smoky Mountains.
The dining table has 4 chairs and a bench that will seat up to 3 comfortably. There is additional seating at the bar with 4 stools. The laundry room has a washer and dryer and inside the closet, there is an iron and ironing board so you can step out clean and neat.
The bathroom on this level features a Jacuzzi tub for those long de-stressing baths. The first bedroom has a king size bed, private TV, and walk-in closet. The second bedroom on the main level has a queen size log bed and its own private TV.
Upstairs on the upper level is a game area which has a bumper pool table/card table with 4 executive chairs for competitive card games or that can be rolled away easily for a game of bumper pool. A catwalk leads to an upper deck that can be used to refresh and rejuvenate for the next game.
The bedroom on this floor of the cabin has a king size bed. In the corner of the room is a Jacuzzi tub surrounded by stone with a waterfall mural that gives you the illusion of the outdoors. Romantic and relaxing, isn't about time?
Around the Bend is literally around the bend from Dollywood as it is only 2/10th of a mile away! Ask a reservationist about our two-day passes to Dollywood or the 3-day Splash 'n Play tickets good for both Dollywood theme parks in the Smoky Mountains. We also sell discounted tickets to Dixie Stampede Dinner Show and other local attractions in the Smokies.
Although you are just minutes from Dollywood, you will also want to spend time visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The park has hiking trails, picnicking areas, swimming areas, and other interesting activities year round.
