Alpen Rose is a 3 bedroom pet friendly log cabin located in the Brothers Cove gated resort community in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains just outside the Pigeon Forge city limits in Wears Valley Tennessee.
Alpen Rose which has accommodations for 8 people is ideal for family or group getaways and when you stay here you will travel back in time to an era when covered bridges and split rail fences were prevalent.
This pet friendly cabin has parking for 4 cars and as you walk up to the front door, reminders of yesteryear are present in the wooden wheel barrel, whiskey, and thinking bench. Step onto the covered deck and the entrance door opens into the kitchen area of the cabin.

As you enter this log cabin with its beautiful all-wood interior, your first glimpse is that of the fully equipped kitchen which is ready to prepare any of your meals and snacks. The dining area has 3 walls of glass which will allow you to enjoy the view of the mountains to enjoy while eating.
Eating in the cabin is a great way to economize on your vacation. Be sure to stop for groceries as there is a large Kroger's Supermarket and convenience stores on your way to the cabin.
The living room has a cozy and homey feel and the stacked stone wood-burning fireplace radiates warmth even when it's not being used. The unique décor of everyday items such as a Ball jar filled with buttons adds flavor to the room and the sofa converts into a bed providing additional sleeping quarters.
Imagine an evening sitting in front of the fireplace and watching TV. Maybe, you'll want to pop some corn and make it a movie evening. Or maybe, you'll choose to plan your next day's itinerary by the warm glow of the embers in the fireplace.
Double doors open to the bedroom that is located on this level with a queen size bed, Jacuzzi tub, and a bathroom with shower. The room has a space saving pocket door which slides between the walls.
From the living area, exit to the covered veranda which has an old style wooden picnic table with benches. Don't forget to plan a cook out on the charcoal grill so be sure to pick up some steaks or chicken, add a few vegetables and, wow - you've got a picnic!
The soothing hot tub sits on an uncovered portion of the deck. Here you can sit in the hot tub at night and look up at the stars. Can you spot and name the different constellations? What a great way to end the day and then relax and rejuvenate for the next day! You can also unwind by rocking in one of the log rockers but either way you are here in the Smokies so enjoy the outdoors!
From the living room, climb the stairs to the upper level of Alpen Rose and check out the beautiful wood carved owl at the top of the stairs. Write your post cards or read at the small table and chair. Wouldn't this also be a nice spot to do your morning devotions?
Take the catwalk to the upper deck. Sit back in one of the 2 rockers and gaze at the peaceful serenity of the mountains and hills. Year round the peace and beauty of the Smokies invigorates the body and soothes the soul and you have found the perfect place to enjoy it.
There are 2 bedrooms of this floor of the cabin which each have queen size beds and a share a bathroom with a walk-in shower. One of the bedrooms has privacy doors that open for a view of the living room.
All guests of ours who rent one of the cabins in the Brothers Cove Resort have complementary seasonal swimming pool access in the "Cement Pond" with breathtaking views, large sun deck with lots of lounge chairs, bathrooms and changing area, a beautiful covered gazebo, and a picnic area with benches, tables and BBQ grills all with a million dollar view.
Although the coziness and amenities of your cabin make it so that you won't want to ever leave, you won't want to miss the opportunity to explore and experience some of the activities and action of the Smokies.
